My husband and I have been together for 8 years. He’s truly my biggest supporter! I feel so grateful to have him champion me through running a small business. We enjoy exploring new coffee shops, playing pickleball (he always beats me), singing in the kitchen to the ‘Wicked’ soundtrack, playing board games, traveling, going to Lake Michigan in the summer, and recently we’ve loved camping in our new pop up camper. We’ve been married for 5 years and sometimes talk about what we would change about our wedding day if we could go back.

I wish I was more adventurous for my wedding day…

Don’t get me wrong, I loved our day - surrounded by all our favorite people. But I regret one thing… doing everything traditional. I wish we got coffee together the morning of our wedding, did the first look, had an ice cream bar, did an outfit change, or took photos in an epic location. That fit us. I wasn’t sure how to make it happen and I wish I would’ve had someone to help me along the way. This is why I believe your day should be about what’s important to you!

Alyssa is absolutely fabulous! I'm sure any wedding day is pretty busy but we threw Alyssa a curve ball and asked if she'd be up for a helicopter ride with a glacier landing for photos before the ceremony. Thank goodness she said yes; it was amazing and her photos captured it perfectly. I really appreciated having Alyssa's help creating a timeline and recommendation to create a list of group photos we wanted. Having these made the day so much easier and stress free. To top it off, our sneak peak included so many more photos than we expected and we are eagerly awaiting the rest. The day truly felt like a dream and Alyssa's photos reminds me that it was real.

Aren’t we all, though? Don’t worry about it. 90% of my clients have never had their photos professionally done and it’s normal, just come with an open mind and let me take care of the rest.
I am based in Battle Creek, Michigan but I have done sessions all over Michigan. I will travel wherever you need me to be!
HECK YEAH! I love to travel and even more if it’s more a wedding or elopement. I am always eager to see how I can capture your love story out of state or internationally! Check out my travel bucket list to see if your destination is on there! if not, inquire below! Maybe it just needs to be aded. ;)
Couples can expect to receive their wedding photos via an online gallery within 6-7 weeks of their big day. Engagements and other portrait sessions are about three weeks. I always send a sneak peek within 48 hours!
