Whether you’re dreaming of eloping somewhere beautiful or simply gathering ideas, I’m here to guide you. Eloping is far more than skipping a large wedding and running off to a courthouse. It’s about intentionally shaping a day that feels true to you — one that’s adventurous, intimate, and rooted in your story.
Your wedding covenant is sacred, more than a simple ceremony or tradition... that's why you've chosen to elope - to strip away the expectations a large wedding day may bring and step into something deeper. Because at the heart of it all, marriage isn’t a performance - it’s a promise.
The story is yours, free from expectation and entirely your own.

Tips for building your elopement
-
Where do you see yourself? Before we bring logistics into play, let yourself dream. Want to be on the sandy shores of the ocean, standing in front of the vastness of mountains, a still and quiet lakeside, a cliff overlooking it all, a cozy airbnb in the middle of the woods surrounded by all your favorite people, or a red rock desert landscape? (Bonus tip: weekdays often mean fewer crowds!)
-
Think about what feels best for you two. Do you want your closest family and friends there? A small group? Or just the two of you for something simple and intimate?
-
At the very least, you’ll want an officiant, photographer, and witnesses. Depending on your vision, you might also include a florist, hair and makeup, catering, videography, or anything else that adds to the experience.
-
Once you have your general vision, it’s time to narrow down the details—specific spots, permits, state laws, weather, and accommodations. The good news? Many experienced vendors can help guide you through this. I always offer location scouting, vendor recommendations, and timeline planning.
-
It's getting closer - yay! Now let's make it true to you. Focus on creating moments that feel intentional and fun for you both. Want it to be adventurous? Go for it. Want it laid-back? Perfect. Add in personal touches like a picnic, a hike, coffee at a local shop, a mini cake-cutting, or even a sunset swim. There are no rules—it’s your day.
-
Everything is planned and ready - it's time to be present and marry the love of your life. I’ll be there to handle any little hiccups, keep things flowing smoothly, and document it all as it naturally unfolds.

Alyssa is absolutely fabulous! I'm sure any wedding day is pretty busy but we threw Alyssa a curve ball and asked if she'd be up for a helicopter ride with a glacier landing for photos before the ceremony. Thank goodness she said yes; it was amazing and her photos captured it perfectly. I really appreciated having Alyssa's help creating a timeline and recommendation to create a list of group photos we wanted. Having these made the day so much easier and stress free. To top it off, our sneak peak included so many more photos than we expected and we are eagerly awaiting the rest. The day truly felt like a dream and Alyssa's photos reminds me that it was real."
